Cruises Culinary Academy Pvt. Ltd., project is the
brainchild of Mr. G. S. De Souza - CEO.
It is the first Culinary Academy to have received the
prestigious ISO 22000:2005 accreditation approved by
IRQS (a department of the Indian Register of Shipping).
It has also been recognized by the Government of Goa
under the Human Resource Development Foundation (HRDF).

Ably supported by
an efficient team of faculties and the Dean, with long
experience on cruise liners and hospitality industry. The
purpose of the Academy is to provide skilled culinary crew to
international cruise ships. We, at the International Cruises
Culinary Academy Pvt. Ltd, are proud to be the first
recognized academy in Goa to introduce " Culinary Arts and
Crafts” The demand for the cruise industry has grown
because…..today’s cruiser is looking to have a “Once in a Life
time” Cruise Experience as well as get their “Value for
Money”. This is where again , the I.C.C.A plays a major
role in making sure that our ships have trained And
experienced “Culinary Crew”
It is our responsibility to make sure that our culinary team
is not just trained in cookery and Culinary Art, but are able
to handle any emergency situations. We believe and emphasize
that they are first “Sailor’s” and they represent their
various areas, in the Culinary Department” Along with its
experienced Culinary Management, our Academy aims to train and
produce the finest chefs found fit to operate on any Cruise
Liners.
Today the Company employs more than Ten Thousand Crew on
cruise Ships, The ICCA Academy has employed 400 Student
Chefs on the Cruise Liners. The Academy has in April 2011
commenced training its Eleventh batch.

Man behind the
dream
International Cruises Culinary Academy Pvt. Ltd., project is
the brainchild of Mr. G. S. De Souza - CEO, who is specialist
in the field of Security, Safety and Hospitality Industry,
includes twenty five years in Management position with major
Airports, Airlines, Hotels and Cruise Lines, Vice Chairman (IISSM) International Institute of
Security & Safety Management - Western Region, Founder & Hon.

Mr. Geffrey S.
DeSouza is a specialist in the field of Security, Safety and
Hospitality Industry. This spans 25 years in Managerial
positions with major Airports, Airlines, Hotels and Cruise
Liners.
His vast experience as a Security Officer at the airports
handling airline security and as the Chief Security Officer on
major cruise liners gave him just the platform needed to
launch his foray into another kind of business. He began to
recruit and place crew for cruise ships.
On April 7, 2008 he established the International Cruises
Culinary Academy Pvt Ltd- the Business school for Culinary
Arts (ICCA). By this singular act he succeeded in offering not
just jobs, but careers to Goan students as also providing
skilled crew to the cruise liners. |
